If you’ve read any of my other blog posts, you’ve already figured out that I’m not an anti-racism educator (ok, that’s a massive understatement - I’m FAR from being an anti-racism educator). I’m merely a white woman doing the work to become an anti-racist and I refuse to shut up about it.
So I’m over the moon excited that my own anti-racism coach and mentor, Amena Chaudhury of Zarafa Consulting (here), let me talk her into presenting her online course, “Art of Interrupting Racism.”
Friends, Amena is trusting me - a white woman! - to market this, be the presenter, and support her in other technical ways. I might or might not ever use my facilitation and coaching skills during this workshop, and that’s just fine with me.
I took the “Art of Interrupting Racism” workshop and let me tell you this: Amena is a gifted and experienced teacher. I’m still pinching myself about this opportunity to tell my professional network and friends about her!
The workshop is on two Mondays, December 4 & 11, from 11-2 central/12-3 eastern. Please tell everybody you know! In fact, here’s a link to a post I did over on LinkedIn if that’s a platform where you’ll have an easier time sharing this widely.
I’m living proof that you don’t have to be perfect or an expert to help other people become anti-racist, too.
