I wish you’d elaborate more on the white drama you witnessed. Concrete examples would help bring greater awareness. It’s such an insidious thing that happens and hearing your perspective on what you’re observing might help others see it in their interactions too.

Hi there - This is an excellent suggestion. Without going into too much detail, here's the behavior I saw: isolating BIPOC women from the conversation so they couldn't know what was being said; using confidential knowledge of personal details to manipulate white women's perception; retelling details of situations to make the BIPOC women appear to be at fault; and contacting individual white women who only had a portion of the information to build a coalition of people to act against the BIPOC women. The most obvious behavior I've seen, I think, is gossip. Be VERY VERY wary of anybody who gossips, but most especially white women. Gossiping is a behavior that is violent, period.

Thanks for the additional insight. That sounds like a pretty toxic work environment. White women do love our gossip….🤦🏻‍♀️
